This truly spectacular 1940's blouse in the softest shade of peach, hand painted and decorated with claw set rhinestones, is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
Her mandarin collar draws together along the front of the neckline with a small pearlised button and loop fastening. Her shoulder line boasts internally sewn in shoulder pads. The yokes are accented by sewn box pleats along each edge of the shoulder seams. Her wide full length sleeves are edged with wide cuffs that draw together with matching peach covered button fastenings, setting off the hand-painted designs and claw set rhinestones along the cuffs. The bodice boasts the most exquisite hand painted display of flying cranes, flora and fauna, and butterflies, accented by claw set rhinestones in shades matching those of the paint. Finished with matching covered buttons and darts along the front and back of the waistline, this 1940's blouse showcases the craftsmanship of the era.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
