"Painted Flowers" Vintage 1950's Hand Painted Floral Dress UK 6-8 US 2-4

Made in the softest shade of ivory nylon decorated with hand painted flowers, this original 1950's dress is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

Her square cut neckline is framed by three thin shoulder straps joined together by knots along the back of the shoulders. Her elegant bust-line is accented by pleated and gathered nylon, that sets off the fitted bodice. Her cinched in waistline, accents the wonderful drape of the demi-circkle skirt, that boasts wide box pleats along the waistband.
Lined in ivory acrylic beneath the nylon painted overlay.

Closures: This dress fastens to the back with a 13.5 inch nylon zip and a hook and eye

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small age mark along the right hand side of the bodice along the armpit area. A very light scattering of age marks along the back of the hemline. These minor age marks are very light and well concealed within the drape of the skirt. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable under close inspection.

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
