This beautiful 1920's needlework handbag is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
On a sky blue cotton base fully embroidered with muted grey and gold lame threads, further decorated in a needlework floral design, in soft shades of coral, blue and green, with gold lamé thread accents, this incredible bag also boasts a statement decorative rose quartz hexagonal lift lock clasp further adorned with inlaid silver marcasite stones to the base. The metallic gold toned metal frame, is accented by a matching metallic gold leather handle. The bag opens to a pale pink rayon lining, with a 3 compartments including a central kiss lock purse and one small side pocket .

Condition: In wonderful vintage condition, with general tarnishing and thinning to the lamé base and some of light wear to the silk embroidery. Lifting to the decorative gold lamé threads and tarnishing to the metal lamé thread features. Signs of wear to the corners of the metal frame. Natural tarnishing to the metal features. light surface scratches to the decorative lucite clasp. Age and makeup marks to the lining and pulls and thinning to the rayon . Some loss of embroidery details. These minor details are not overly apparent when the bag is being used, and do not detract from the incredible beauty of this piece.
