This incredible 1930's ink blue navy silk dress with an intricate floral embroidered lace panel, with white threads on a navy tulle base, is a rare piece to behold and never again find.

The pointed collar of the dress conceals press stud fastenings that allow for the dress to be put on with ease. Her simple shoulder line, is framed by mid length pleated sleeves edged with simple cuffs. Her elegant blouson bodice, boasts gathered pleats to either side of the bodice, framing a central silk panel. Her cinched in waistline is set off by a wide lace panel, which boasts side press stud fastenings. Her wonderful skirt is accented by draped pleats that fall from either side of the front of the lace panel, which is mimicked along the back of the dress.

This dress is sheer and may need to be worn with a slip to conceal ones modesty.

Closures: This dress fastens to the side with 5 press studs, along the nape with 6 button and loops and along the collar with 5 press studs.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A few very small mends to the waist lace panel, these have been done sympathetically and are not apparent. A very light area of colour variation to the navy silk along the centre part of the bodice, this is only apparent under very close inspection, and is not visible when the dress is being worn.
