"Navy Collar" Vintage 1950's Navy Blue Wide Collar Suit UK 8-10 US 4-6 

A classic silhouette rendered in a stunning navy blue wool, this original and rare 1950's skirt suit, is the perfect statement piece for your vintage wardrobe.

The wide shawl collar, joins to the front of the V shaped necklace in a wonderful central bow design,  framed by double pleats along the right hand side base of the collar. Her 3/4 length sleeves, framed the fitted and tailored bodice, that cinches in along the waistline, and flares out gently in an iconic 1950's silhouette. Her elegant skirt, boasts a simple waistband, that sits perfectly beneath the jacket, drawing the eye to the classic straight cut tailoring of the skirt.

The jacket is lined in silk, the skirt is lined in silk along the back .

Condition: This suit is in near perfect vintage condition, with a very small pin hole to the front right hand side hipline of the skirt. This very minor issue is not apparent when the suit is being worn, and only noticeable under very close inspection.
