"Navy Blue Set" Vintage 1940's Navy Blue & White Stitching Blouse & Skirt Set UK 8 US 4
This wonderful 1940's navy blue wool skirt set, with white stitched accents, is the perfect piece to add to your seasonal vintage wardrobe, enjoy them as a set or separately to add versatility to your styling
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a border of white stitches, that edge the tie fastening, in a classic pussy bow. Her Full length sleeves are edged with wide cuffs, and side button fastenings, and decorated with a border of white stitches. Her fitted bodice, is accented by button fastenings. Her cinched in waistline is accented by a shirred stitches, setting off the elegant peplum cut of the hemline, and its matching stitched border.
Her simple skirt, sits beneath the blouse, in a wonderful quarter circle cut. Completed by white stitches along the hemline, every detail of this piece showcases the craftsmanship and design of the 1940's.
