This 1940's wrap-over robe, in the most wonderful shade of deep burgundy floral rayon brocade, with bold mustard accents, is the perfect addition to your loungewear and daywear wardrobe.
Her mandarin collar is edged with mustard coloured pipping, that matches the central mustard coloured buttons along the centre front of the bodice. The simple shoulder line sets off the wide 3/4 length sleeves, internally edged with mustard coloured fabric, that can be seen with every arm movement. The fitted bodice is accented by gold metal threaded embroidery, depicting a dragon to one side and clouds to the other. The waistline, is drawn in by a matching burgundy fabric belt, which conceals the cross over fastenings. The elegant skirt line, completes this robe in an iconic silhouette. This piece can be worn as loungewear or a dress as the cross over design conceals ones modesty.

Condition: This robe is in near perfect vintage condition .Some age marks and colour variation to the mustard button fastenings. Light thread lifting to the embroidered designs along each side of the bodice. Very light age mark to the left hand side shoulder line. These minor details are in no way apparent when the robe is being worn and only apparent upon closer inspection
