An iconic beauty to behold, this original 1960's cotton dress by Howard Wolf, rendered in a black and white polkadot pattern and monochrome bodice is the perfect piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line and a sleeveless cut. The white waffled cotton bodice, is decorated with black braiding, which contours the neckline and the front of the bodice, framing the rounded black button mock fastenings. The fitted waistline is accented by the matching polkadot waist belt which can be worn fastened to the side or to the back of the dress. The elegant maxi cut of the skirt line, is set off by knife pleats which radiate along the length of the skirt-line, completing this dress in an iconic 1960's silhouette. The skirt-line is lined in black cotton and part of the bodice is lined in white cotton.

Condition: This dress is in good but not vintage condition. There is yellowing to the waffled cotton along the internal part of the shoulder line and nape. Slight yellowing to the edges of the waffled cotton along the nape. Two pin sized grey marks along the front left hand side of the bodice above the waistline, these are concealed by the waist-tie. A small age mark concealed within the pleated drape of the skirt line. Very light and gentle fading to the vibrancy of the fabric along the skirt. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
