The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by wide shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The elegant tailored bust line, is accented by a pointed under-bust seam, that joins the backline of the dress along the waistline, concealing the central metal zip fastening with a pointed finish and a concealed press stud. The panelled cut skirt radiates from beneath the under-bust panel and sets off the A line silhouette of the dress, which boasts a rounded hemline along the back that drapes to a longer length.
The matching marigold yellow evening coat, boasts a stand-away mandarin collar that draws in along the front of the neckline in a detailed pointed finish beneath a rhinestone embellished button.The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length sleeves. The tailored bodice of the coat, is accented by rounded bust seams and a pointed waist panel that draws in centrally beneath the second rhinestone embellished button, joining the backline at waist height. Finished with a swooping A line cut skirt-line, that sits perfectly above the dress and a central kick pleat from below the waistline to the hem.

Closures: This dress fastens to the back with a 14 inch plastic zip, a hook and loop and a press stud. The coat fastens with 2 buttons.
Condition: This dress and coat are in near perfect vintage condition. Very light and gentle wear marks along the hemline of the coat. A slight grey mark along the back left hand side of the boast to the side of the kick pleat. These minor details are not apparent when the set is being worn and only apparent under close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned and ironed on a cool setting
