This eye-catching 1950's cotton dress in a soft shade of lilac and in a gingham pattern, is just the piece for your everyday wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is accented by purple pipping that joins the main body of the dress in curved and scalloped designs. The sleeveless cut draws the eye to the fitted bodice and cinched in waistline. The elegant Demi-circle cut skirt, is set off by scalloped purple pipping along the top of the skirt line and just beneath the waist, in a petal design. This dress has been photographed with a medium petticoat for added volume, this is not included within the listing.

A small and light age mark to the skirt just above the hemline along the front, this is very faint and only apparent under very close inspection. The pipping along the neckline has been visibly hand sewn, there are visible stitches. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
