This truly mesmerising 1930's silk floral dress and jacket in a palette of reds, oranges, yellows and greens set against a brown base background with lilac and cream accents, is the perfect piece for your all year round wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by wide straps that join the backline in a racer back design, that links together beneath a matching silk loop. The fitted bodice is accented by gathered pleats beneath either side of the bust-line that radiate across the bust in soft pleats to either side of the central pointed seam panel. The Bias cut of the dress sets off the waistline and skims the silhouette in a true 1930's design.
The matching jacket is accented by a rounded edge to edge design that sits perfectly above the dress. The simple shoulder line, boasts tailored darts along the yokes, that set off the pleats along the shoulder and sleeve seams. The mid-length sleeves frame the cropped length of the sleeves.

Closures: This dress fastens along the left hand side of the bodice with 3 press studs and a hook and eye
Condition: This dress is in near. Very gentle yellowing and discolouration along the base of the armholes of the dress . A few very small scattered pin holes to the skirt-line of the dress, these are well concealed within the floral print. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn.
