A classic silhouette rendered in a vibrant shade of bright coral, this 1960's silk chiffon dress is the perfect splash of colour for any special occasion.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts, that draw the eye to the cinched in waistline. The breathtaking skirt-line, boasts a matching silk chiffon sash to the left hand side of the waistline, decorated with a small matching silk chiffon bow. Pleats gather beneath the top of the sash and radiate along the front of the left hand side hipline, creating a figure flattering detail, and setting off the simple line of the skirt, which boasts a high side slit along the left hand side seam, and a smaller one along the right. This dress is fully lined in rayon.

Condition: This gown is in near perfect vintage condition, light fraying to the silk chiffon along the fabric panel which sits above the zip to the back of the dress. This is not apparent when the dress is worn and does not affect the overall strength of the piece.
