A classic silhouette rendered in a hot pink raw silk with gold button details, this original 1960's dress and jacket set is the perfect ensemble for tailored wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress is edged with a raised matching silk border. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves. The fitted bodice is accented by a central seam, that draws the eye to the cinched in waistline, which boasts a downward rounded seam and a central matching bow feature. The elegant shift cut of the skirt is set off by single pleats to either side of the front of the hipline, framing the central seam, and completing this dress in an iconic silhouette. This dress is fully lined in silk.
The matching jacket sits perfectly above the dress and boasts an open neckline framed by a pointed collar. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internal shoulder pads, that set off the full length sleeves. The tailored cut of the jacket is set off by feature pointed seam that run from the sleeve seams to the waistline, drawing the eye to the stylised bow and gold button fastening feature. The jacket is fully lined in silk.

Condition: This set is in near perfect vintage condition, with a very small age mark along the centre front of the skirt-line. This is well concealed within the lustre of the silk and not apparent when the suit is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
