This truly eye-catching 1940's wool dress, on a base of charcoal grey with a green woven chevron pattern, is just the piece for your seasonal wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line, with internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam. The 3/4 length sleeves, frame the fitted bodice which sets off the grey pearlescent central button fastenings. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching grey wool belt, which draws together along the front of the waist beneath a simple buckle. The elegant skirt, is accented by pockets along each side sea, and single pleats to either side of the front of the waist. The central button fastenings, drawn the eye to the inverted pleat along the central part of the hemline, completing this dress in an iconic 1940's silhouette.
