"Fuchsia Pink" Vintage 1930's Fuchsia Pink Bias Cut Gown UK 10 US 6

This mesmerising 1930's fuchsia pink rayon satin gown, with wonderful pleat details and a bias cut is the perfect piece to add a touch of colour to your special occasion wardrobe. 

The straight cut neckline is framed by wide shoulder straps, with detailed quilt-like stitching details and a sleeveless cut. The front of the bust-line is accented by gathered pleats, setting off the simple waist panel. Her waistline is drawn in along the back of the dress with a matching fabric bow. The elegant skirt-line, boasts a bias cut and wonderful full drape with a hand stitched rounded hemline.

Armpit to Armpit: up to 36 inches

Shoulder to Hem: 60 inches

Waist: up to 28 inches

Hips: up to 50 inches

Closures: This dress fastens to the side with an 9 inch metal zip and to the back of the waistline in a bow

Condition: This dress is in adored and loved vintage condition. The Satin rayon has surfaces scratches and wear to the front of the skirt on the lower part.Some of these surfaces scratches have worn the rayon thin along the hemline and there is a scattering of small holes. Wear to the rayon along the hemline it has worn thin in some areas. There is a mend to a hole on the front bottom right hand side of the hemline. A scattering of light age marks to the skirt-line. Light impression marks to the satin rayon throughout. Although this dress has imperfections, they are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn as the drape of the skirt conceals them. This dress has been priced accordingly.
