This original 1940's dress, rendered in a palette of black and fuchsia rayon and embellished soutache embroidery, pearlescent beads and claw set rhinestones, is just the piece for your vintage collection.
The asymmetrical squared neckline is accented by a pointed fuchsia tab, which is embellished with black soutache, pearlescent beads and claw set rhinestones and finished with a stylised and embellished matching fuchsia button. The simple shoulder line, sets off the 3/4 length sleeves which are edged with fuchsia pink pointed turned up cuffs, embellished with black soutache embroidery, pearlescent beads and claw set silver rhinestones. The elegant bodice is accented by gathered pleats to either side of the front of the waistline, which radiate upwards along the bodice. The simple panelled cut of the skirt is accent by knife pleats, completing this dress in a timeless and iconic silhouette.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, very gentle colour fading along the shoulder lines, some very faint age marks to the fuchsia rayon cuffs.
