This divine 1910's Edwardian lawn cotton blouse, with detailed embroidery is a rare piece to behold.
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a simple shoulder line, accented by faggot stitched embellished seams. The full length sleeves are edged with pointed cuff, accented by turned down sewn pleats and embroidered edges framing the cuffs, which are finished with two hook and eye fastenings. The timeless cut of the blouse, boasts central pearlised button fastenings, that set off the crenel edge along the button hole side, framed by embroidered accents along the front centre of the blouse. The yokes are set off by sewn pleats, drawing the eye to the scattered floral embroidery adorning the front of the blouse. The front of the blouse boasts a rounded hemline, whilst the back of the blouse sits slightly shorter and is finished by two vented panels.
This dress is thin cotton and may need to be worn with a slip to conceal ones modesty.
