"Floral Beaded" Vintage late 1930's Navy Blue Crepe Silk Floral Beaded Dress UK 12-14 US 8-10

This beautiful late 1930's navy blue crepe silk dress, with lace and beaded accents, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

Her deep V shaped neckline, has an inbuilt pale peach silk modesty panel, that fixes internally with 2 press stud fastenings. The décolletage is edged with blue floral lace, accented by clusters of glass beads in pale pink and white. Her yokes are decorated with smocking stitches that draw in the crepe silk in pleats that radiate across the bust-line, and join the waistline. Her full length sleeves are edged with lace beaded cuffs, that fastens with 2 small press studs.
The elegant bodice, cinches in along the waistband, and sets off the elegant cut of the skirt, which boasts inverted pleats to the front and the back of the dress.
