This breathtaking 1940's eau de nil cotton novelty print dress depicting a fairytale scene with castles, horses, princesses and jesters in a palette of blue ,coral and white is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
The V shaped notched neckline is framed by white piping and a simple shoulder line. The structural short length puffed sleeves, are set off by slim cuffs and matching white pipping. The fitted bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in waistline. The timeless skirt is set off by two front pockets along the hemline, and is finished with an inverted pleat along the centre back of the hemline.

Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. A small darn to the right hand side of the neckline, 3 darns to the inverted pleat along the centre back of the skirt, one small pin sized age mark on the back of the waistline. Natural sunlight related colour fading to the top of the bodice, These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. This piece has been priced accordingly.
