This original 1950's black silk dress, with a wonderful rose print in shades of pink and blue with green leaf accents, is the perfect piece for your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by pleats and gathers that join to the centre of the décolletage. The shoulder line is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads, setting off the 3/4 length sleeves, edged with gathers along each cuff. The fitted bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in waistline, set off by a matching fabric belt. The wonderful line of the skirt, which boasts double central box pleats and photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume, completes this dress in an iconic silhouette.
