This luxurious 1930's cream silk nightdress, with delicate trailing foliage embroidery accents and softly scalloped edges, is just the piece to add to your lingerie collection.
The V shaped neckline is edged with softly scalloped and embroidered edges, which accent the cross over silk ribbon shoulder straps which draw together along the shoulder lines with hand tied bows. The elegant bust-line is embroidered with trailing foliage designs, which frame the deep décolletage. The bias cut off the nightdress draws in along the waistline with matching silk ribbon ties, which draw together along the back of the nightdress. Finished with a bias cut skirt line and a small side pocket beneath the left hand side of the waistline, this timeless nightdress showcases the lingerie designs of the era.

Closures: Simple silk ties.
Condition: This nightdress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small age mark along the right hand side yoke just below the shoulder ties . Two faint age marks along the front of the skirt-line and mid-way height. These minor issues are not apparent when the nightdress is being worn, and do not affect the overall quality of this piece. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
