Rendered in a soft duck egg blue raw silk, this original 1960's Norman Hartnell duster coat from the ready to wear collection is the perfect piece for your transitional wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the coat is framed by a simple shoulder line, accented by tailored darts along each yoke. The 3/4 length sleeves, are finished with decorative pale blue buttons along each external side of the overlayed cuff details. The timeless wide straight-line cut of the coat is accented by central pale blue button fastenings, and finished with two front pockets. This coat is fully lined in satin.

Condition: This coat is in good but not perfect condition. There are two areas of wear to the silk weave along the bottom right hand side of the coat below the last button hole and above the hemline, this is wear to the silk has worn thin through use and rubbing. Light colour variation to the duck egg blue silk along the shoulder lines, this appears to be a slightly lighter shade. A small age mark to the front of the left hand side shoulder. Light colour variation to the lining. These minor details are not apparent when the coat is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
