This truly beautiful 1940's Dorothy O'Hara Silk Dress in a wonderful abstract pattern in shades of green and purple set off against white accents is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.

Her square neckline is framed by central pleats along each side of the front of the neckline that radiate across the bust-line. Her simple shoulder line lets off the petal cut sleeves, with elegant pleats that radiate from the inner sleeve, creating an eye catching pleated detail. Her fitted bodice sets off the cinched in waistline, that joins the front of the dress is a pointed downward seam. Her elegant skirt, boasts a wonderful hip swag, that drapes and pleats along the front left hand side of the  side of theskirt-line, setting off the simple line of the opposite side of the skirt, whilst creating a mesmerising 1940's silhouette.

Closures: This dress fastens to the side back with a 21 inch metal zip and a hook and loop. 

Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. Some very light colour variation to the cream accents along the shoulder line and bodice of the dress. Some small areas of wear to the silk panel that conceals the zip fastening, this has a small tear just above the waistline. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon close inspection.

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
