"Dogtooth Dior" Vintage 1960's Christian Dior Dogtooth Suit UK 12-14 US 8-10

£1,229.00

This beautifully tailored 1960's Christian Dior silk lined wool suit, in a wonderful monochrome dogtooth weave, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

The V shaped neckline of the jacket is framed by a notched collar and a double breasted cut, that fastens along the front side with 2 buttons and an internal button. The simple shoulder line sets off the full length sleeves edged with mock turned up cuffs finished with single decorative black buttons. The elegant cut of the jacket cinches in along the waistline with darts which is then drawn in by the matching fabric belt, which fastens to the front of the jacket, setting off the rounded peplum cut hemline. The matching skirt, sits perfectly beneath the waistband in an iconic straight line cut, with a kick pleat to the back centre of the hemline. The jacket is fully lined in silk and the skirt is lined in silk and a layer of polyester.
