Rendered in the most incredible fine black cotton voile and embellished with cream lace appliqués depicting falling leaves, this original 1930's dress is a beauty to behold.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line which is accented by gathered stitches which radiate along each yoke in soft pleats. The 3/4 length sleeves are accented by double pleated gathered seams along each external side of the cuffs, creating soft pleats above the hem. The elegant bodice, boasts soft pleats which radiate from the fitted waistline. The near full circle skirt, is set off by a bias cut, allowing for the length of the skirt to drape in soft pleats along the silhouette, completing this dress in an iconic and timeless design. This dress is sheer and may need to be worn with a dress slip to conceal ones modesty.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with an 9.5 inch metal zip.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very light scattering of small pin holes along the back of the bodice. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
