This original 1940's dress, made in the most sumptuous shade of coral pink rayon, with detailed seam and pleat designs, is the perfect piece for any special occasion.
The sweetheart neckline of the dress is framed by thin shoulder straps and set off by pleated fabric along the bust-line in a cross over design, setting off the draped rounded pleated panel that hangs just beneath the bust. The fitted and boned bodice, sets off the cinched in waistline, which is accented by detail pointed seam details, which radiate and showcase the full circle cut of the skirt-line.

Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. A light scattering of age marks along the lower part of the skirt line, these are well concealed within the drape of the rayon . Two small mends to the rayon just above the hemline along the back of the dress where small holes have been mended . A mend to a hole along the right hand side of the hemline. Light and natural pulls to the seams along the bodice. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Fastenings: This dress fastens at the back with an 19 inch metal zip and a hook and loop
