Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's piece is a beauty to behold and never again find.
Her rounded neckline is framed by a border of silver bugle beads, that set off the trailing gold sequins and silver beads in floral motifs that surround the neckline and join the front of the bodice. Her sleeveless cut sets off the simple bodice and dropped waistline. Her wonderful skirt is completed by a very soft scalloped hemline, that hangs longer to either side of dress. The hemline is finished with rows of silver bugle beads that match the neckline, and trailing silver and gold sequins flowers, that decorate the skirt as if they were growing up the dress. Entirely beaded on a fine cotton base, this spectacular dress on a French white cotton base, is a true masterpiece of her time.

Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. Some light colour variation along the back of the neckline, this appears slightly yellowed with age . A very light scattering of age marks to the front lower left hand side of the bodice. A light scattering of age marks to the back centre of the skirt just above the hemline. With only a few beads missing. These minor issues are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn as the beadwork detracts the eye and conceals these minor imperfections.
