Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's piece is a beauty to behold and never again find. Showcasing a rhinestone pattern mirroring the iconic Assuit patterns and design of the 1920's, this masterpiece is an exceptional example of Egyptian Revival.
Her rounded square neckline is frame by wide shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. Her central bodice panel boasts a light cowl that gathers in soft pleats whilst setting off the timeless cut. Her cinched in waistline, sets off the simple straight cut of the skirt, which hangs lower along the back of the hemline. Fully embellished in silver claw set rhinestones, this mesmerising dress showcases the incredible design of the 1920's. After careful study, we believe this 1920's dress was amended and altered in the late 1930's to a more figure flattering cut.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side with a 7.5 inch metal zip.
Condition: This dress is in good vintage condition. Some ought and small pin holes throughout, where the claw set rhinestones have been moved or replaced. A small mend to the front of the skirt just beneath the waistband. A few very light areas of daylight related discolouration to the lilac satin, where it appears light in certain areas. A few small rhinestones are missing. A small scattering of pin sized age marks to the bodice along the centre. ( these are incredibly minor and well concealed within the sparkle and pattern on the rhinestones. Very light discolouration to the satin along the base of the armholes. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon very close inspection.
