Made in the most vibrant shade of chartreuse green, with gold ric-rac accents and cream and gold floral ribbon details, this original late 1940's patio skirt and blouse set is the perfect addition to your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the blouse is framed by a notched collar with a gold and cream ribbon panel along the nape. The simple shoulder line is accented by a border of ric-rac and ribbon work that contours the yokes, joining along the front of the neckline and centre of the backline. The elegant bodice is framed by mid length dolman sleeves.
The matching skirt, boasts a simple waistband decorated with 3 lines of gold rich-rac, and is finished with a side zip fastening and hook and eye. The wonderful drape of the skirt is accented by gathered pleats that radiate from beneath the waistband, setting off the drape of the cheesecloth cotton, completed with rice-rac and ribbon work detail along the hemline.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
