This 1940's bright paisley print silk blouse on a soft cream coloured base, with a black outlined pattern set off by chartreuse, purple and tan block coloured details, is the perfect piece to add to your everyday wardrobe.
The pointed collared neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line set off by internally sewn shoulder pads in matching silk fabric. The full length sleeves draw in along the matching fabric cuffs, with single button fastenings along each one. The elegant cut of the blouse is accented by central pearlised buttons, and tailored darts that draw in the waistline.

Condition: This blouse is in good but not perfect vintage condition.Two small darns along the inside of the left hand side sleeve. The button hole on the left hand side cuff has been mended, and the pearlised buttons on each cuff have been replaced. The hemline of the blouse has a raw edge which has been double stitched. A small age mark along the left hand side of the front of the blouse at waist height, a small age mark along the nape of the collar. The first pearlised button along the front of the blouse does not match the other two, the last button as a very small chip. There are a few small pin holes along the back of the right hand side shoulder and one small pin hole on the back of the collar. These minor details are in no way apparent when the blouse is being worn.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
