This truly marvellous 1940's chartreuse felt hat, in a striking tilted trilby design, is a rare piece to behold.
Decorated with a dark brown gabardine ribbon along the base of the crown, which crosses over simply along the back of the hat, contrasting the decorative brown millinery organza along the front of the hat, which is in turn decorated with chartreuse green felt disks, that accent the pleated organza fabric. Finished with a slim brim and soft brown netting, which drapes along the back of the hat, setting off the felt disk embellishments, drawing the eye back to the chartreuse green felt base and completing this hat in a truly iconic 1940's design.
Her classic style, and internal elastic band, allow for the hat to be worn with ease upon your head. We recommend the use of a hat pin to aid in the stability of this piece.
