Rendered in the most eye-catching design, this original 1950's feather and felt hat, in the most sumptuous shade of celadon blue, is a rare piece to behold.
The rounded moulded crown of the hat, built on a felt base, is decorated with overlapping feathers, which cover the base in its entirety. The front flat brim of the hat curves along the left hand side in a rounded design, creating the head of the bird, which is finished with turquoise blue claw set rhinestones and a quill to emulate the beak. The front brim of the hat is finished with 5 raised and curled feathers, completing this wonderful bird like feature.
The rounded shape of the shape allows for it to be positioned securely above your do. We recommend the use of a hat pin for added stability.
