"Candy Stripes " Vintage 1940's Red & White Pinstripe Cotton Dress UK 12-14 US 8-10
With the most eye catching pattern of red and white cotton pinstripes, this rare 1940's pinstripe dress, is the perfect piece for welcoming the warmer weather in.
Her square neckline, is framed by a simple shoulder line and short length petal cut sleeves.
Her fitted bodice, sets off the cinched in waistline, accented by the vertical pinstripe pattern. Her elegant skirt, boasts a chevron striped pattern, drawing the eye upwards to the cinched in waistline, whilst setting off the elegant drape of the cotton skirt, completing the silhouette in true 1940's fashion.

Closures: This dress fastens at the side with 7.5 inch metal zip
Condition: This dress is doos/loved vintage condition. A pull to either side of the yokes just above the bust-line. A small pin sized darn to the front left hand side of the skirt just beneath the waistline. A darn and slight pull the cotton midway down the centre seam of the skirt . Four small darns behind the zip fastening along the back left hand side of the skirt. A small darn centrally along the back of the skirt just beneath the waistband. Light and natural pulls to the cotton weave of the skirt. These minor issues are not apparent when the dress is being worn, as the incredible chevron and pinstripe print creates a near optic illusion. These minor issues are apparent upon closer inspection
