This wonderful 1940's brown and cream plaid jacket,  is the perfect piece to add to your everyday vintage wardrobe.

Her wonderful wide pointed collar joins the front of the jacket in lapels, setting off the edge to edge cut. Her elegant shoulder line, accented by shoulder pads which have been added at a later date, set off the full length sleeves, edged with wide turned up cuffs, in a contrasting solid brown wool. Her elegant trapeze cut is accented by two side slit pockets.
This jacket is fully lined in silk

Condition: This jacket is in well loved vintage condition. A small darn along the front left hand side collar.A small darn along the external side of the left hand side seam, . A small age mark along the back right hand side sleeve,. An age mark along the back right hand side of the jacket just beneath the collar. Some light colour variation along the hemline. These minor issues are very well concealed within the plaid pattern of the jacket, and only apparent under close inspection. This piece has been priced accordingly.
