This eye-catching 1940's two toned gabardine dress, in a palette of mustard and brown, with brass toned buttons, is just the piece for your everyday vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a slim shawl collar. The simple shoulder line is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads, that set off the double darts along the front of each yoke. The 3/4 length sleeves are edged with turned up cuffs. The tailored bodice is accented by pleats to either side that radiate up from the darts along the waistline and join those along the yokes. The cinched in waistline, set off the line of the skirt, which is accented by box pleats that drape from along the waist. Finished with stylised brass buttons, this wonderful dress showcases the iconic two tone design of the era.
