This wonderful 1940's dress in an abstract botanical print in shades of green, mustard, white and red with black detailed accents, is the perfect piece for your everyday wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a pointed collar, and a simple shoulder line accented by large internal shoulder pads. The elegant fluttered sleeves, join the bodice in elegant pleats beneath small darts along the yokes. The tailored bodice is set off by central button fastenings, in the form of clear lucite leaves with reverse carvings and brass accents. The cinched in waistline boasts a matching fabric belt, that draws the eye to the gathered pleats that radiate upwards and downwards along the bodice and skirt to either side of the front of the waistline. The elegant skirt, features two large front pockets and a central panel along the front, completing this dress in a breathtaking an iconic 1940's silhouette.

Condition: This dress is in near vintage condition. Light and natural colour bleed to pattern throughout. Gentle wear to the belt holes along the belt. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
