This incredible 1940's crepe silk dress, in the most beautiful shade of blush pink, accented by a pleated gathers, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a strong shoulder line, accented by internal shoulder pads. The short length sleeves boast small gathered pleats along the top of the sleeve seams and delicate inverted pleats above the cuffs. The yokes of the dress are set off by small pleats that draw the eye to the fitted bodice. The drawn in waistline is set off by small pleats that radiate upwards along the bodice and a rounded waist panel, that draws in along the back of the dress with a matching crepe silk tie. The eye catching skirt, is set off by draped mock front pockets, which boast box pleats, accenting the hipline. The skirt is finished with pleats from the waistline, completing this dress in the most breathtaking silhouette.

Condition: This dress is in good/well loved vintage condition. A scattering of very small age marks along the right hand side of the neckline and bodice. A light scattering of age marks along the central waist panel. A scattering of age marks along the centre front of the skirting smaller ones concealed within the pleats and the drape of the skirt. A small darn along the right hand side sleeve. These minor and light age marks are not overly apparent as the dress is in such a wonderful colour and great cut. They are noticeable upon inspection.
