This enchanting 1940's navy blue silk dress, with a novelty pattern of stylised blush pink and cream hand fans, and central navy blue swirling buttons, is just the piece for your everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a pointed notched collar. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads, that set off the tailored dart seams, from which sewn pleats gather and drape down the bodice. The full length sleeves, frame the fitted waistline. The elegant line of the skirt, is accented by pleats to either side of the front of the waistband that drape into the length of the skirt. The central navy blue swirling plastic button fastenings, that run along the central part of the dress, complete the delicate and iconic details of this 1940's piece.
