This wonderful 1960's cream linen dress, embellished with gold braiding which is in turn accented by white floral plastic beads, wooden beads, white rocaille beads, silver sequin and clear faceted diamond shaped beads, showcases the wonderful design and craftsmanship of Malcolm Starr.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by a border of braiding and beadwork, that join in double strands along the centre front of the décolletage and join the length of the front of the dress. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves, which are accented by braiding and beadwork along each cuff. The elegant line of the dress is set off by Princess seams, which draw the eye to the two front pockets, which sit beneath the hipline. This dress is fully lined in silk.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light and gentle beadwork loss along the gold braiding. This is more apparent along the back of the right hand side of the neckline and along the back of the left hand side sleeve. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
