"Avenues of Trees" Vintage 1940's Navy Blue & Pink Tree Print Crepe Silk Dress UK 14 US 10

This breathtaking 1940's crepe silk dress with an eye-catching print of trees in shades of navy blue and pink on a white background, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.

Her V shaped neckline is framed by a pointed notched collar. Her Mid-length sleeves, are edged with turned up cuffs. Her elegant bodice, boasts pockets along the yokes, with petal cut detailing along their tops. Her fitted bodice, is accented by the central button fastenings in a soft shade of blue.
Her cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching fabric covered belt, with a central bow feature. Her simple skirt, boasts seams that run from either side of the waistline, and fall into inverted pleats, creating wonderful drape and movement to the crepe silk.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, a small mend to the lower part of the first button hole. Some light colour variation between the belt and the dress, some very light yellowing to the crepe silk along the belt. This is not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable under close inspection.
