This beautifully tailored 1940's dark aubergine coloured wool jacket, decorated with iridescent purple glass beads and rhinestones, is the perfect addition to your tailored wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a shawl collar, which is decorated along the left hand side with a stylised matching wool bow, embellished with iridescent purple glass beads and silver petal cut rhinestones along the base. This sets off the mock pocket detail along the left hand side yoke, which features a matching wool band decorated with a matching stylised bow. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam, which set off the full length inset sleeves. The tailored bodice features Princess seams which run along either side of the front of the jacket, framing the matching wool covered button fastenings, whilst setting off the tailored darts along the waistline. This jacket is fully lined in silk.
