Rendered in a classic silhouette, this original 1950's cotton dress in a brushstroke floral pattern in shades of blues, greens and lilacs, set against a white background, is just the piece to add to your summer wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress, is framed by double shoulder straps, which draw together along the top of each shoulder line, beneath matching decorative fabric bows. The fitted bodice is accented by tailored seams that run along either side of the front and join the cinched in waistline, which is accepted by a matching fabric belt. The elegant line of the skirt, is accented by double box pleats to either side of the front of the waistline, and double wing details along the centre back of the skirt, creating wonderful sash like movement when walking.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with some light colour variation and slight speckled age marks along the belt and belt buckle. A very faint age mark along the front left hand side of the décolletage. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Fastenings: This dress fastens along the back with a 13 inch metal zip, a hook and loops
