This magnificent antique silk and tulle shawl, in a rich moss green shade on a black tulle base, with wonderful curved edges, is the perfect accessory for your vintage collection.

Fully embellished in green silk floral appliqué embroidery with brown thread, set against a black tulle base. The shawl is edged with long length silk tassels in accompanying moss green and black.

Total width including fringing : 22 inches

Condition: This shawl is in wonderful vintage condition. A scattering of age marks throughout particularly around the neckline and to the left hand side these appear browner in colour. A mend to the tulle to the left hand side near the hem. A scattering of pin sized holes and light fraying to the silk appliqués throughout. Light and natural wear to the silk fringing. These minor details are not apparent when the shawl is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
