A spectacular piece rendered in a sumptuous black suit, this original 1950's Adele Simpson skirt suit is the perfect statement to your tailored wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline of the jacket is framed by a notched collar. The elegant slopping shoulder line is lined with thin shoulder pads that sets off the bracelet length sleeves, which are edged with matching silk covered buttons along each external side of the cuffs. The tailored silhouette of the jacket is accented by structural darns that draw the jacket in along the waistline, setting off the softly flared hemline. The central matching silk covered button fastenings of the jacket, draw the eye to the finishing decorative bows that are positioned below the waistline.
The tailored skirt, sits under the jacket and boasts a simple waistband, from which tailored darts radiate along the hipline. Finished with an inverted kick pleat to the back of the skirt.
