This wonderfully patterned 1950's dress in an abstract swirling design with thin linear lines on a background of green, cream and orange with a white accented leaf print, is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by a shawl collar . Her simple shoulder line is set off by a panel of gathers that run from each shoulder to join in the centre of the bust-line in a V shaped design. Her short length sleeves are finished with turned up cuffs. Her fitted bodice is accented by central button and loop fastenings, that draw the eye to the cinched in waistline. Her skirt is completed by pleats, that sit perfectly over the petticoated under-dress.
This dress has an under-dress which is separate to the dress. The slip has thin shoulder straps and a rounded neckline. The fitted bodice sets off the skirt which is finished with a tulle petticoat.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
