"Valence" Vintage 1930's Silk Satin Hand Painted Dress
Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1930's piece is a beauty to behold and never again find.
Her mandarin style neckline, is framed by a key hole bust line and pointed collar to each side of the yoke. Her 3/4 length turned up sleeves set off a fitted bodice and nipped in waistline, accented by a peplum that falls into a small bustle at the back of the dress. Her flowing silk satin skirt, contrasts the incredible hand painted satin bodice.

Closures: This dress fastens to the front with an 11.5 inch metal zip and with an 8 inch metal zip to the side, a single press studs at the collar.
Condition: This dress is in beautiful vintage condition, with some areas of wear to the paint on the satin bodice, and some areas where the silk has worn a little thin around the painted silk patterns, this is to be expected from a piece with such craftsmanship, these minor issues are not noticeable or visible until the dress is held up to light under closer inspection.
