"Finished With Bows" Vintage 1940's Plum Crepe Silk Dress Embellished with Bows UK 8-10 US 4-6
This original 1940's dress, made in the most sumptuous shade of plum crepe silk, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by small seams along each yoke, beneath decorative matching crepe silk bows, that radiate into pleats along the bust-line . Her shoulder line boasts shoulder pads, that set off the full length sleeves. Her cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching crepe silk belt, setting off the central inverted pleats along the front of the skirt.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Some light discolouration to the crepe silk along the belt. A small darn to the centre front of the bodice, just above the waistline. These minor elements are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable under close inspection.
Fastenings: This dress fastens at the side with 11.5 inch plastic zip
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
