"Forest of Dean" Vintage 1940's Green Wool Fitted Jacket
This beautifully tailored 1940's green wool jacket, is a rare piece to behold and never find again.
Her wide tongue collar is trimmed with scalloped edges in the form of black knotted trim. Her button down front boasts matching fabric covered buttons and a fitted bodice. Her cinched in waistline is set off by 2 front pockets, edged with matching trim to the collar. Her full length dolman cut sleeves and shoulder pads along the shoulders, accent the wide turned up cuffs and complete the incredible tailoring of this pice.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect condition. There are 2 small pin holes to the right hand side front of the collar. We Believe this is where a brooch was once pinned, and adding a new brooch would conceal the small areas of wear.
