"Braided Peplum" Vintage 1940's CC41 Black Wool Braided Peplum Skirt Set UK 10 US 6
A breathtaking silhouette rendered in a stunning black wool edged with black braided pipping, this 1940's tailored CC41 skirt set is the perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe.
The Peter Pan collar of the jacket is edged with black braiding and framed to either side with wide shoulder pads along each shoulder seam. Her full length sleeves are accented by button and loop fastenings along each cuff.
Her fitted bodice is accented by central button fastenings, that draw the eye down to the cinched in waistline, drawn in by a matching belt, and set off by a 3 tiered peplum, edged with black braiding.
The skirt boasts a simple waistband, and a panelled cut.
