"Bouquet" Vintage 1950's Silk Floral Tulip Cut Dress UK 10

Made in the most beautiful floral pattern, in shades of pink, red, blue, cream and green on a soft taupe background, this original 1950's water silk dress is perfect for your vintage wardrobe.

Her rounded v shaped neckline is framed by short capped sleeves, and a fitted bodice. Her cinched in waistline, is accented by box pleats to either side of the centre of the waist, that drape into a tulip cut skirt, with rounded petal shaping along the front of hemline.
Photographed here with a medium petticoat for added volume, this dress is an iconic piece of the 1950's.

Closures: This dress fastens to the back with a 17.5 inch metal zip

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. With some very light pin sized marks along the bodice, these are well concealed within the floral pattern, and not apparent when the dress is being worn. Two small darn stitch mends below the right hand sleeve

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
